So glad i found this video. I have been getting i20 error codes for months, totally intermittent, and am working with a repair person who is stumped and recommending I replace the control board or get a new unit altogether. My unit is not even 3 years old. Will try this tomorrow. Thanks!
I have to say a Huge Thank you for your video. Our local repair man refused to work on my dishwasher so it was off to youtube all of ten minutes to fix and its back and running again!
Nice video! I'm having this issue right after the repair guy came by to deal with an I30 error. Now I get both and I30 and a I20 error. Good thing I'm still under warranty!
Excellent tutorial. I woke up early this morning to my drain pump running non-stop, even with the door open. Code i30. Turned off the breaker. Started my troubleshooting and narrowed it down to this switch. Checked my local appliance parts distributor inventory on-line, and they had it in stock. I checked YouTube for a "how-to" video to make sure I was going to do the job right. Found this video. Went to get the switch, did the repair, back up & running normally now. Thanks for posting !
THANK YOU!!!!! Such a clear video which helped both diagnose and fix the issue!
Great video! By the way, do you know if Electrolux ships the replacement kit to the affected customers? I saw a service bulletin online regarding the pressure sensor issue.
I had this issue and was able to resolve it by removing the filter, filling the reservoir with hot water (close to a boil), letting it sit for 5 mins, and then placing my shop vac hose in front of the sensor opening (make it near airtight if possible using your fingers). I was able to suck the clog/debris away from the sensor and my unit is up and running again. Hope this works for others.
Thanks for the video, solved my problem in a jiffy!
Thank you. I got tired of cleaning up the old sensor every 4 wash or so.
Quick question, is there supposed to be a screw through the hole in the grey plug on the right side of the sump assembly (next to where the tub is screwed to the sump)? I cannot see in your video (there is glare from the lighting), and the parts listing does not give a name to this (sub) part which makes it difficult to search for or talk about properly. My dishwasher had one but it rusted away and I'm wondering if it was put there in error. Also
I’m having trouble removing the newer version of the sensor (like the one you installed). How do you deal with the tab without breaking it?
thank you so much,,,,we were ready to get new one and I got on you tube to see if anything here cause all lights came on and just would not work,,,well after watching your video I got in it and reset everything I removed before ,,, bingo,,,,, pressed heat dry and start and washer started.. thank You again..
Just did similar fix on electrolux esl7630ro, but still getting errors and instructions says, that i should run callibration program to properly calibrate sensor. But I`ve no clue, how. Can somebody help?
This really was helpful. Not sure if it fixed my problem for good but with the first test run it's looking good.
I just removed my pressure switch , rinsed with vinegar and hot water and cleaned with q-tip, dried up pan , machine working again . What a crazy design, not ideal.
No pressure hose ?
What is the part number for the kit?
Having a hard time taking the switch out. What exactly do I have to do with the screwdriver?
